Geological Summary
A series of shear zones traverse the Lower Jurassic-Triassic Slocan Group sediments, mainly comprising graphitic argillites. These zones intermittently host quartz-siderite veins carring silver-lead-zinc mineralization. The Mercury Mine produced 978.4 kilograms of silver, and the adjacent Payne Mine produced 115 070 kilograms of silver.
