Geological Summary
Bedrock is exposed in canyon walls along Saunders Creek, but otherwise is covered by talus and frost-heaved rock. Bedrock is believed to be Metsantan quartzose andesite of the Toodoggone volcanics, similar to that exposed in Saunders Creek canyon.
