Geological Summary
The claims are underlain by a package of Jurassic sedimentary and tuffaceous rocks with interbedded mafic flow rocks which strike northeasterly and dip northerly. The rocks are metamorphosed and moderately deformed with local shearing and faulting. Chlorite, epidote, plus or minus hematite, plus or minus magnetite occur locally as alteration in all rock types. Mineralization consisting of malachite, chalcopyrite, pyrite and bornite is present in small quartz veins as fracture fillings and along foliation planes.
