| Geological Summary |
Proterozoic to Cambrian argillite, quartzite and limestone are folded into two tight northerly trending anticlines and a syncline. Gold-quartz veins with minor sulphides occur in northeasterly trending faults at stratigraphic intersections. At least 20 veins are known on the Nugget Mines property which has produced gold previously and has potential for more production.
