| Geological Summary |
Geology in the area of study consists mainly of a shallow westerly dipping sequence of intercalated sediments and volcanics of the Late Devonian-Early Mississippian Eagle Bay Formation. Minor galena, chalcopyrite and sphalerite mineralization is found in a 17 metre wide zone of foliated, silicified and chloritized rhyodacite to rhyolite volcanics and minor argillite. A 1 metre wide quartz vein intrudes this package of rocks.
