Geological Summary
Germanium and gallium are found in coal-bearing carbonaceous shale horizons. The horizon is from 1 to 5 metres thick, is enclosed in arkose and dips at 15 degrees to the west. Two or three shale horizons overlying the carbonaceous horizon consist mainly of kaolin and are 2 metres thick.
