The claims are underlain by andesitic volcaniclastics, shales and cherts of the Devonian-Mississippian Sylvester Group which are cut by numerous high angle faults or shear zones. Mineralization consists of precious metal bearing polymetallic sulphide quartz- carbonate veins associated with iron-carbonate alteration in major linear structures.
