Geological Summary
Late Paleozoic Slide Mountain mudstone, siltstone and limestone, interbedded with basaltic volcanic rocks are overlain by Triassic Takla Group andesite with minor interlaminated mudstone. Along a northeast trending fault zone, anomalous gold, silver and copper soil geochemical anomalies coincide with magnetic lows. Gold mineralization occurs in quartz carbonate altered shear zones.
