Geological Summary
The claims are underlain by Paleozoic Sicker Group rocks consisting of the Sedimentary Sill Unit and the northwest striking underlying Myra Formation, which are intruded by Jurassic diorites (Ladysmith Stock) to the north. The Myra Formation contains 2 taconite showings in "ironstone" horizon, but no known precious and/ or base metal occurrences. However, the "ironstone" is indicative of a favourable geological environment.
