Geological Summary |
The claims are underlain by a series of volcaniclastics, tuffs, breccias, argillites and limestones, which are intruded by small diorite stocks apparently of Upper Triassic age. Disseminated pyrite, chalcopyrite, bornite and hematite blebs and fracture fillings, and coatings of malachite occur in a small diorite stock and associated alteration zone. Best geochemical results occur as single point highs of up to 99 999 ppm copper and 930 ppb gold.
