Geological Summary
The property is underlain by a folded and northerly trending, faulted syncline in Precambrian Purcell Supergroup sediments: Aldridge dark argillites (east margin) and stratigraphically higher Lower Creston micaceous quartzites (Hogback Ridge). The claim straddles the major north-northeast fault followed by the Wild Horse River. Narrow ankerite sills injected into the graphitic argillites of the fault zone feature minor quartz-carbonate/sulphides tension fracture veinlets.
