Geological Summary
A late Mesozoic or Early Tertiary syenitic porphyry intrudes conglomerate, and sediments of Takla Group in a fault splay from the Pinchi Fault. The syenite body maybe up to 9 square kilometres and anomalous geochemical values in gold, silver, arsenic, lead, zinc and copper are found over it. Small quartz veins (2 centimetres) carry anomalous gold and a trench located in silicified syenite gave an assay of 0.368 ounces per tonne (12.6 grams per tonne).
