Geological Summary
The property is underlain by Upper Triassic and older Karmutsen Formation pillow-basalt and pillow breccia, massive basalt flows, minor tuff and volcanic breccia. Jasperoid tuff, breccia and conglomerate occur at the base of an east-west fault (Canoe Creek). Parallel lenticular quartz veins occur in the fault and north and south of the fault. The 1986 sampling indicated sulphides and up to 5 000 ppb gold in quartz lenses.
