Geological Summary
The property is largely underlain by argillite, siltstones and basaltic volcanic rocks of the Nicola Group, intruded by felsic porphyry dykes of Cretaceous or Tertiary age, all of which is overlain by flat lying Quaternary glacial deposits. The Nicola Group rocks strike northwesterly with steep westerly dips. The dykes are nearly vertical and strike northwesterly and northeasterly. Prospective gold mineralization is associated with quartz-carbonate veinlets in and near the dykes.
