Geological Summary

The Turnagain River ultramafic body is a zoned ultramafic complex consisting of a dunite core and peripheral peridotite, pyroxene-rich periodotite and olivine pyroxenite. It intrudes the northwesterly striking Permian-Pennsylvanian Cache Creek Group of rocks.
