Geological Summary
The deposit occurs in an alkalic intrusive complex in the Quesnel Trough. The complex was emplaced in six distinct phases which comprise syenite, monzonite porphyry and diorite. The host volcanic/ sedimentary rocks are of Lower Jurassic to Upper Triassic age. Copper-gold mineralization is hosted in crackle breccia zones with the grade varying with the intensity of brecciation.
