Geological Summary

The claims are underlain by Upper Devonian Myra Formation black shale, felsic volcanics, maroon and grey schist and andesite. These rocks are unconformably overlain by fossiliferous sandstone and conglomerate of the Upper Cretaceous Nanaimo Group. Geochemically anomalous gold and copper values occur in pyritic, siliceous felsic volcanic rocks.
