Geological Summary
Gold mineralization is localized along an extensive, complex northerly trending shear zone which cuts gneiss and diorite. Gold occurs with pyrite in quartz-ankerite-sericite-sulphide veins within the zone. Significant amounts of gold are present in mine dumps and mill tailings on the property. The dumps consist of approximately 136,000 tonnes of material. A preliminary estimate of the volume of tailings at the mouth of Paradise Creek is 534,000 tonnes.
