Geological Summary |
The claim is underlain primarily by a titaniferous magnetite bearing gabbroic complex. The mafic-ultramafic body is in fault contact with metasedimentary and foliated granitic rocks. A strong magnetic anomaly, which coincides with a banded pyroxenite unit within the complex, was outlined during the current survey. Assays of drill core indicate that this unit contains significant values of vanadium, titanium and iron and above background values in gold, platinum and palladium.
