Geological Summary

The property is underlain by pillowed basalts, chert, intermediate to felsic breccias, and basaltic flows of the Mississippian Slide Mountain Group. Several zones of red brown weathered, quartz carbonate altered rocks with minor chalcedonic quartz veinlets have been found.
