Geological Summary
The surveyed area is underlain by intermediate volcanic rocks of the Upper Triassic Nicola Group. Crystal and crystal-lithic tuff composed of sand-sized particles predominate. These rocks are interbedded with lapilli tuff and breccia and with thin lava flows. Quartz-feldspar dykes intrude the volcanic sequence.
