The claims are underlain by Devonian-Mississippian Sylvester Group volcanics and sediments cut by northeast and northwest trending faults. Structures within the volcanics have associated carbonate- pyrite alteration zones. Several quartz-ankerite veins and stockworks are up to 0.5 metre wide.
