Geological Summary
Diatreme(s) are emplaced in three phases of an isoclinally folded and faulted east dipping limb of a major northwest striking anticline that is overthrust along the northwest trending Mons Creek Fault on an Upper Devonian reefal carbonate sequence. Host rocks are predominantly the Middle Ordovician Skoki Formation. A diamond and diamond indicator mineral bearing crater infill sequence occurs.
