Geological Summary
Precious metal mineralization of electrum and ruby silver is hosted in altered Jurassic tuffaceous sediments. The high grade gold-silver mineralization occurs at fault intersections and superposes a specific alteration phase over the regional assemblage. Vein specific alteration comprises silicification and carbonatization. The vein systems occur in two shears; one northerly trending with a westerly dip of 65 to 85 degrees, and the other with a 130 degrees strike and northwest dips of 75 to 90 degrees.
