Proterozoic Aldridge Formation argillite, argillaceous quartzite and quartzite underlies the claims. Folding is minimal and faulting is northeast to northwest. Limited intrusives include diorite, granodiorite and lamprophyres. Mineralized shears and disseminations include pyrite, pyrrhotite, chalcopyrite and galena.
