Geological Summary
Gold and silver bearing quartz veins with galena, sphalerite, and tetrahedrite cut altered Cretaceous-Jurassic Nelson intrusives and altered Early Mesozoic gneisses of the Milford Group. Veins trend northwest and dip to the northeast. Three gold geochemical anomalies with associated high lead, zinc, silver, arsenic and copper values were identified in a soil sampling survey.
