Geological Summary
The property is largely underlain by basalt flows and flow breccias of the Triassic Nicola Group, cut by vertical, east-west trending, pyritic quartz-feldspar porphyry dykes of presumed Triassic age. A zone of quartz-carbonate-fuschite alteration trending northwesterly also cuts the basalt. All lithologies are overlain by Quaternary glacial deposits consisting of sheeted till, kames and eskers. Prospective gold mineralization is associated with the dykes and zones of quartz-carbonate alteration.
