Geological Summary |
The property is underlain by a shallow dipping, thinly-bedded sequence of marine sediments belonging to the Devonian-Mississippian Eagle Bay Formation. All rocks have undergone lower greenschist facies regional metamorphism. Minor pyrite and rare chalcopyrite, galena and sphalerite mineralization is associated with white, fracture controlled quartz veins, parallel to the bedding and schistosity of the host rocks.
