| Geological Summary |
Metamorphosed, south-dipping andesitic rocks of the Permian Anarchist Group are intruded by granite of the Upper Mesozoic Valhalla Batholith on the west and are overlain in the east by conglomerate and minor volcanic sandstone of the Tertiary Kettle River Formation. A trace of very fine sulphide was noted in the sediments in the southeast portion of the grid.
