Geological Summary
Jurassic quartz monzonite and granodiorite are dome-shaped and structurally deformed by an extensive network of intersecting northwest and northeast trending faults. Three grades of alteration were identified from basal granitic composition. Mineralization, mostly pyrite, is associated with former sites of lenses of volcanic rocks overlying structural channels of hydro-thermal fluids.
