Geological Summary
The southeastern half of the property is underlain mainly by Upper Triassic Karmutsen Formation basalts with interbedded limy argillites and argillaceous limestone. The northwestern half is underlain by rhyolite flows and fragmentals and gabbroic intrusives of the Tertiary Masset Formation and Jurassic Kunga Formation limestones with minor andesitic Jurassic Yakoun Formation sediments. Extensive gold-bearing, quartz-carbonate hydrothermal systems cross cut the claims along north trending regional structures.
