Geological Summary
The Marie property is underlain by Masset Formation felsic to intermediate volcaniclastic rocks which unconformably overly thinly bedded siltstones and shales of the Haida Formation. In the southern part of the property a diorite stock cuts the sediments with associated andesite dykes occurring throughout the claim block. A large zone of strong silicification and pyritization occurs northwest of Sheila Lake and has anomalous gold and arsenic values.
