Geological Summary
The Relay claims are underlain by Lower Cretaceous Taylor Creek volcanics and sediments surrounded by and in fault contact with Upper Cretaceous Kingsvale sediments. The Taylor Creek rocks are intruded by a large swarm of porphyry dykes and sills of Tertiary age. Low grade gold mineralization is hosted by feldspar porphyry dykes altered to quartz-carbonate-sericite and pyrite.
