Geological Summary
The claims are underlain by metamorphosed, folded and faulted Triassic-Cretaceous Leech River Complex sedimentary rocks which have been intruded by east-west trending felsic assemblages of greenschist facies. This sequence is dominated by slate, phyllite and quartzitic intercalations of greywacke which hosts sulphide mineralization. Faulting, fracturing, quartz veins and dykes are abundant.
