| Geological Summary |
The area is underlain by Upper Paleozoic oceanic crust of the Atlin terrane. Greenstone is cut by a northeast trending fault and intruded by ultramafic rocks. The ultramafics are serpentinized and carbonatized. The ultramafics and greenstones are cut by steeply dipping quartz veins which may be locally auriferous.
