Geological Summary
The York claims are situated in the Pinchi Fault zone and underlain by Upper Triassic metasediments, Jurassic metavolcanics, augite porphyry and a Cretaceous granodioritic stock. The major bedding and schistosity strike northwest with southwest dips. A pyrite-pyrrhotite halo is widely distributed with molybdenite concentrated at the granodiorite/sediment contacts. Gold-arsenic anomalies were found in northwest limonitic and northeast trending shear zones few centimetres to 10 metres wide.
