Geological Summary
The geology of the property is characterized by steeply dipping metasediments of the Proterozoic-Early Paleozoic Snowshoe Formation. The sediments are comprised of crenulated, grey phyllites overlain by an augen schist and a quartzo-feldspathic gneiss which is in turn overlain by a banded schist. Mineralization observed on the property consists mainly of pyritic disseminations in secondary quartz within the crenulated phyllite unit.
