Geological Summary
The Star claims are underlain by steeply dipping, east facing Proterozoic Middle Aldridge Formation sediments. These sediments are dominantly medium to thin-bedded wacke and quartzitic wackes and lesser quartzwacke. Gabbro sills and dykes are found on the property. The property is bounded by steeply dipping major north trending faults. At least 4 other minor faults that are parallel to the major north trending faults occur on the property.
