Geological Summary
The claim area is underlain by intermediate volcanics of the Lower Jurassic Telkwa Formation bordered on the west and south by dioritic intrusives. The volcanics are cut by numerous dykes. Erratic gold values of up to 4 grams per tonne over 2 metres are found in a local, discontinuous, silicified section of tuff breccia. Pyrite and local minor barite concentrations were also observed within shear and/or contact metasomatic zones.
