Geological Summary
Subaerial-submarine volcanic, volcaniclastic and sedimentary rocks of the Lower Jurassic Hazelton Group are intruded by Middle Jurassic diorite. Block faulting is the predominant structural control. Two types of mineralization have been found: 1) stratigraphically controlled lead and zinc and 2) remobilized lead and zinc in quartz-carbonate veins in shear zones.
