Geological Summary
The property lies on the contact between the Hedley sequence and the Whistle Creek sequence. These units strike north, are steeply dipping, and young to the west. A Hedley intrusion known as the Banbury Stock cuts through all stratigraphic units. Many small dykes invade the country rocks and represent at least two generations.
