Geological Summary
The Brenda Mine lies within the Brenda stock, a composite quartz diorite of Jurassic age considered to be part of the much larger Pennask Batholith. Chalcopyrite, molybdenite and minor associated pyrite, occur mostly in hairline fractures with more substantial mineralization associated with quartz viens ranging in width from 3-10 millimetres.
