Geological Summary
Lower Jurassic Hazelton Group volcanic rocks are intruded by Eocene stocks, dykes and sills of biotite-feldspar porphyry and overlain by volcanic biotite-feldspar porphyry equivalents. The intrusive rocks have been localized by a system of north-northwest trending faults and by a subsidiary set of northeast trending faults.
