Geological Summary |
The property is underlain by a sequence of sedimentary rocks ranging from Cambrian (Atan Group) to Upper Devonian (McDame Group) in age. In the immediate area of the showings, faulting (McDame Fault) is common and the stratigraphy is complex. The copper-lead- zinc-tungsten showings outcrop in McDame Creek Canyon and are typified by relatively narrow zones of replacement and fracture controlled mineralization in limestones, dolomites and argillites. Skarn minerals are locally present.
