Geological Summary
Sheared Upper Triassic Takla Group andesites exhibit quartz- sericite-carbonate-chlorite-epidote alteration. Narrow quartz- carbonate veins in the shear zone contain chalcopyrite-magnetite- pyrite mineralization with disseminated pyrite-chalcopyrite in the wallrock. The shear zone is up to 15 metres wide. A grab sample of a mineralized vein assayed 1225 grams per tonne silver, 23.3 grams per tonne gold, 4 per cent copper and 0.4 per cent bismuth.
