Geological Summary |
Clastic sedimentary rocks of the Lower Cretaceous Taylor Creek Group are intruded by masses and dyke swarms of feldspar porphyry. Float of banded and vuggy quartz up to 50 centimetres thick are widespread in areas of frost-heaved felsenmeer. Previous sampling of the quartz yielded values to greater than 2000 ppb gold.
