Geological Summary
Mafic volcaniclastics and flows of basaltic composition belonging to the Elise Formation of the Jurassic Rossland Group are cut by narrow quartz veins which contain pyrite, trace chalcopyrite, galena and sphalerite. Weak to moderate gold values are associated with quartz veining. Pervasive carbonatization (ferroan dolomite) is evident in broad zones on Gus 7 and 12.
