The claim area is underlain by biotite granodiorite of the Nelson Intrusions. The contact with sedimentary rocks of the Horsethief Creek series lies in the drift filled lower slopes of the Next Creek valley. One of the soil samples contained enriched levels of silver, zinc and lead.
