Geological Summary
Subaerial to submarine volcanic, volcaniclastic and sedimentary rocks of the Jurassic Hazelton Group are intruded by Middle Jurassic diorite. Block faulting is the predominant structural control. Two types of mineralization have been found: 1) stratigraphically controlled lead and zinc, and 2) remobillized lead and zinc in quartz-carbonate veins in shear zones.
