Geological Summary
The claim is underlain by the Devonian-Mississippian Eagle Bay Formation. Massive Tshinakin limestone forms resistant cliffs trending northwest across the centre of the property, flanked by calcareous chloritic schist to the northeast and southwest. A fine- grained quartzite also outcrops to the northeast. A strong foliation in the schist trends to the northwest dipping to the northeast. Minor disseminated pyrite is common along foliation planes within the schist and minor pyrite has also been observed in the limestone.
